intermission
Don't leap to conclusions.
After reading too many banal blogs, I stumbled across the following. When I began reading, I thought to myself "Oh, another thinker." Then I read further and spit my coffee on my laptop.

It was a good day. I went to Augusta with Mama and saw Larry, Cassie and the babies. We took Cole to Old Navy and got him some cute stuff. Fun times. Cole asked me if I had a job. Keep in mind that he is 6 years old. I said yes. I am a prostitute. He asked what I did. I said, "well. I sell things." hee hee hee. kids are so much fun.
You rock, bad girl!

speaking of banal. thank god this post wasn't written in a "bastardized haiku".
another thinker
Really? My entries are insipid? Is everyone doing their blogs in haiku these days? I thought the idea still had some originality, freshness, or novelty to it.
I hate to be jejune.
they aren't insipid. they are just telltale signs of an emerging dilettante.
Well, I never claimed to be anything other than an amateur, so no offense taken.
At least I have attracted a well-spoken critic!
